£14.42 - £20.60 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Stockport (SK6).

Rates of Pay
- Monday – Saturday £14.42 PER HOUR
- Sunday £20.60 PER HOUR
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Cage delivery of bread products
- Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
- Must be flexible on working days (working any 4-5 days out of 7)
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- Have a minimum of six months experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience of multidrop deliveries will be beneficial
Training
Driving assessment will need to be completed before starting this role.
