Head of Touring - Music Merchandise

Handle Recruitment are excited to be working with an incredible music merchandise company, providing artist-branded products to various sales and distribution channels globally, including eCommerce, production and touring.

As Head of Touring, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of international tour merchandise sales for artist-branded products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Department Leadership: Taking ownership and developing the Tour Merchandise department, driving growth and innovation
  • Client Communication: Collaborating with clients and Account Managers to finalise product ranges and objectives
  • Financial Projections: Drafting projections, including gross profit and spending per head, and analyse clients' previous product lines and sales history
  • Strategic Planning: Strategising future tours, client needs, new designs, and projections
  • Process Development: Managing and developing templates and processes to review all tour sales, taxes, fees, expenses, and shipping costs

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in the music industry, particularly in merchandise
  • Have proven ability to take ownership of the department and lead with accountability
  • Be a strategic thinker with a results-oriented and self-motivated attitude.
  • Have strong multitasking, time management, and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Have experience with AtVenu, Airtable and MyPOS would be beneficial
