Job Type: Permanent (MON-FRI: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)

Salary: £41,000-£45,000

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our clients growing pharma manufacturing company known for their commitment to quality, and innovation.

Position Overview:

  • We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with a strong background in manufacturing to maintain and ensure the efficient operation of their equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with dehumidifiers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and chillers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including dehumidifiers, AHUs, EMS, BMS, and chillers.
  • Site electrical facilities breakdown.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operation of manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve potential problems before they impact production.
  • Support of Safety and Quality investigations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to optimise system performance and reliability.
  • Environmental equipment control ownership.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Facilities project Management.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of dehumidifiers, AHUs, EMS, BMS, and chillers.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Environmental equipment control ownership.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Support of Safety and Quality investigations.
