Our client is a successful and growing legal firm with a head office based in Bristol and other offices based around the South West and Wales. Their clients include those local to the South West and Wales, UK national clients and international clients. They are proud of their highly experienced and knowledgeable lawyers.

The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting them with their search for a Junior Fee Earner in their Private Client Team based in their Bromsgrove office.

As a Junior Fee Earner in their Wills, Trusts and Probate team for our client you will responsible for direct support to the department

Responsibilities will include:

  • Under direction to assist with a varied caseload from instruction through to completion
  • To prepare correspondence, enclosures and documents and undertaking daily filing, opening closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
  • To liaise and build relationships with other professionals
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain the diary for yourself
  • To make effective use of the case management systems.
  • To attend clients both in person and on the telephone in a professional manner ensuring that quality of service levels are to the highest standards.
  • Remain informed of changes in any area of specialisation, such that service quality is always maintained.

The Person:

For this role our client is ideally seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

  • They are flexible regarding the experience and happy to consider either a Paralegal (either qualified or unqualified), CIlex (studying or newly qualified members) or newly qualified solicitors up to 3 Years PQE.
  • The successful applicant must have a good working knowledge of private client including Wills, Trust and Probate and be able to deal with a varied caseload.
  • Be a strong team player with good communication and organisational skills.

The Benefits:

21- 23 days plus bank holidays, parking, company pension

The Location:

Bromsgrove, 100% office based. (with car parking)

The Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm

The Salary:

Dependent on experience
