The Role

To develop, facilitate and deliver a variety of training events and programs that ensure delegates, partners and colleagues, are provided with a range of tools to better manage their own and other peoples' health and wellbeing, promote healthier lifestyles and raise their awareness and knowledge of the subject matter. Focus on MHFA and so must be mental health first aid trained.

Please note that all roles at our client requires a satisfactory DBS check.

Key Tasks:

Program Promotion & Planning

  • To support the creation of training events, programs and other elements of the service in a manner that engages and interests all participants.
  • Proactively identify, secure and nurture relationships with corporates and agencies with an aim of increasing income through training, partnerships and fundraising.
  • To be an integral part of the team developing and delivering training to a broad spectrum of participants, to include the Community, Businesses and Public Sector.
  • Promote our client's training events and programmes locally and nationally, distributing marketing literature as appropriate.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate training clients and prospects
  • Build the pipeline for corporate clients by identifying, researching and engaging local, regional and national organisations.

Supporting & Recording or Training

  • Conduct reviews to assess progress, celebrate success and explore activities that help to improve the programmes and support sustained improvement in participants own and other people's health and wellbeing.
  • Ensure records of participant attendance and evaluation are thoroughly captured and recorded in a timely and secure manner, with due reference to GDPR and performance targets.
  • Measure, monitor and report on training activity and programme performance as required.

Community Engagement

  • Identify, develop, and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, corporate partners and key stakeholders to engage them in championing better mental health and wellbeing, and to encourage and enlist their support as partners, fundraisers and supporters.
  • Proactively promote mental health and wellbeing, including raising the profile of the organisation and its services locally and nationally.
  • Engage with communities to find ways of meeting their specific needs and aspirations.
  • Effectively disseminate the organisation's marketing and promotional materials and strategies within the communities they serve, considering accessibility, inclusion and diversity.
  • Develop campaigns and contribute to and promote organisational, local and national campaigns pertaining to the organisation's mission and mental health and wellbeing promotion in general.
