Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, looking to join a world leading engineering business at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry? We are ideally looking for those with an electrical bias, and with experience of machine maintenance.
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will utilise your expertise in CNC Machines, Electrical systems and Mechanical systems to ensure equipment runs smoothly and production standards and safety protocols are maintained.
A typical day as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician:
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
- Review electrical drawings and perform fault finding.
- Work on preventative maintenance and update older machines.
- Engage with the team on the shop floor to ensure seamless operations.
Take responsibility of ensuring standards and safety are maintained:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on CNC machines, plant and equipment.
- Prioritise safety for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Conduct planned and preventive maintenance.
- Install and refurbish plant equipment to facilitate continuous improvement of company assets.
- Reduce downtime by monitoring and refining first-line and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with operators and team leaders to maintain efficiency.
Who is our ideal Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician?
- NVQ Level 3 in maintenance / manufacturing or equivalent.
- Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background, ideally with an electrical bias.
- CNC machine and machine tool experience, ideally with Mazak equipment.
- Ability to read machine drawings and manuals (mechanical and electrical).
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
