Stairlift engineer

Stairlift engineer required due to retirements in our client's business. Our client is a supplier of access equipment of the less able, the client manufactures, installs, services and repairs access equipment. They are looking for an engineer who has worked in a similar role in the past and is within an hour's commute of their Uxbridge office. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.

This role requires manual driving license, ideally clean.

Position Overview

  • Install stair lift system and other access equipment to manufacturers specifications and safety standards
  • Covering a patch of South East England but mainly working inside the M25
  • Perform planned maintenance and services on access equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on access equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs
  • Provide an excellent level of service to customers
  • Great opportunity to be put through training courses
  • Often reviews to maintain salary matches the worth to the company
  • One of the main contracts the client holds is working with London councils

Stairlift engineer Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Manufacturer training courses would be beneficial but not essential
  • Within 1 hours commute of Uxbridge
  • Ideally clean manual driving licence
  • Good customer service skills
  • Personal hand tools required, specialist tools will be provided by company

Position Remuneration

  • £28,000-£36,000 salary dependant on experience
  • 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Company vehicle with fuel card
  • 8:00-5:30 working hours
  • No overtime expected
