As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Employment Law Solicitor to lead their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the employment law department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal advice and services.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of employment law solicitors and support staff.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to, contracts, disputes, redundancies, dismissals, and TUPE transfers.
  • Represent clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in employment law and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities for growth within the department.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive service offering to clients.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 5 years plus -qualification experience in employment law.
  • Proven track record in managing a team and delivering outstanding legal services.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements.
