Salt is recruiting for a Local Government client in London who is seeking a Digital Skills/ICT Trainer. It's part-time, 3 days per week, £25.23 per hour inside IR35. Initially 3 months. Mondays are anchor days in the office in Central London.
Purpose of Post
To work as part of the strategic planning teaching curriculum development team for Adult Skills and Education Service in the with a clear focus on identifying priority groups and areas within the City and ensuring that the needs of such groups or areas are fed back into the curriculum planning and delivery process.
To develop, monitor and deliver/teach a range of Digital Skills IT related topics. This includes the delivery of such as accredited level 3/4 Data Science and Cyber Security.
The coordination of ACL/AEB Digital Skills/ICT Internal Assessments,.
Coordinating the successful delivery of all learning activities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and assess accredited levels 2- 4 Digital /ICT Skills to learners.
- To teach assess and or project manage Employment related courses such as Cyber Security and Data Science
- To develop a curriculum to deliver first Step into IT/Digital Skills course to local people.
- To develop a programme of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate effective teaching and learning strategies, resources and assessments.
- To work with local and national employers/businesses to assess their Digital Skills/IT requirements.
- To have a creative approach to engaging with learners at all levels and from many different socio economic backgrounds.
