Description
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Preparing payment runs
- Processing company expenses
- Credit card reconciliations
- Processing remittances
- Allocating payments
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email, and letter
- Daily banking
- Finance administration
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role
- AAT L2 or above (desirable)
- Solid understanding of financial principles and regulations
- Excellent numeric skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software (ideally Sage 50) and MS Office
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
