We are looking for an outstanding Music teacher who will ignite our pupil's passion and talents for music throughout the Academy.

This role offers the right candidate an opportunity to join our dynamic Performing Arts team alongside the opportunity to work closely with primary colleagues.
Music is taught across the school and at KS4 is a popular option - the successful candidate will be expected to teach across the full age range of the academy.
We have excellent facilities and believe that music should be an integral part of Academy life with a range of opportunities for pupils to showcase their talents.
We therefore want to ensure we continue to develop Music to its full potential and consequently require an additional music teacher make this reality.In October 2019, Ofsted confirmed SMA as a good school where all pupils, through their hard work and commitment, are able to 'let their light shine'. In Feb 2023, our CSI inspection stated

'The behaviour of pupils is exemplary in lessons and around the school, and strong and positive relationships are evident throughout the school.'
