Hours of work
- Various Shifts Available: 06:00-14:00, 13:00 - 21:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00
- Rota pattern: Any 5 out of 7 must be willing to work weekends
Pay Rate
- £12.23 per hour
- Increased to £13.23 after 1st 12 weeks, PLUS shift allowance
- Overtime payable every 4 weeks
- Productivity bonus worth up to £20 per shift
What you would be responsible for
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be required to work in a busy warehouse environment for a major UK Supermarket, picking food items such as milk, yoghurts and juices for cages or pallets in chilled areas as well as other items which are stored in more ambient environments. They will work as part of a team and be responsible for the quality of the products being handled. The role may involve training in a variety of areas as colleagues may be moved around into different departments depending on requirements.
Requirements for the role
- You will be willing to work in a low temperature chill environment of between 3-5 degrees for part or all of your shift
- Ability to lift goods up to 20kg
- Able to work 5 shifts from 7 days, including weekends
- Have a good standard of verbal and written English
- Have a keen eye for detail and organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable with multi skill training for long term workers
- Full training is provided for you with the upskilling opportunity to be trained on Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) or Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT)
