Job: Event Organiser Sales Executive (Hybrid London or Remote UK)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading company in the nonprofit software market. This company is on a mission to transform digital fundraising by building technology that empowers great causes. Their donations, event registration, and fundraising platform helps thousands of charities raise hundreds of millions of pounds a year. Launched in 2012, they've come a long way — they've raised a Series A with social-impact focussed investors, they've grown their team to close to 70 people, and they're looking to continue growing at an accelerated pace.

They are looking to hire an Event Organiser Sales Executive on a hybrid (preferred) or remote (if needed) basis. Reporting to their Event Organiser Lead, you'll be critical in growing their market share in the event organiser vertical — and create a real impact.

Duties - new business sales:

Establish and develop ongoing relationships with event organisers, event registration suppliers and wider event industry professionals.

Create a territory plan and prospecting strategy to develop key accounts within their sector.

Conduct deep technical discoveries to unearth specific set-up requirements.

Prepare and deliver tailored pitches.

Manage technical follow-up including problem-solving.

Prepare and present bespoke commercial proposals including negotiation.

Pipeline management.

Develop excellent knowledge of key competitors and keeping up to date with any market changes.

Duties - account management of event organisers & registration providers:

Be their day-to-day POC for their mid-market partners.

Identify opportunities for growth within their current customer base. Manage their sales process for upsells to support continued revenue growth.

With support from your manager, confirm contract renewals including negotiating of commercials.

Duties - event success:

Gather detailed requirements for their event set-up and support their onboarding team with event set-up.

Gather feedback from customers and make recommendations on implementations.

Manage relationships with event charity partners to ensure maximum fundraising adoption as well as support core business sales.

Provide best practice suggestions to the event organiser and charities to ensure event fundraising success.

Analyse event data sets to identify trends and good news stories to play back to partners.

Deliver reports to the business on event progress, including forecasting and post-event analysis.

Duties - internal stakeholder management:

Develop strong relationships with internal teams including, Product, Marketing, Sales, Ops / Legal, and Finance to ensure all elements of the partnership are delivered successfully.

Acts as the internal voice of the event organisations/registration providers

Clearly understand the needs, requirements and how critical requests are to the event's success.

Identify areas where the product could be improved to drive greater adoption and ease of use and accurately provide feedback to internal stakeholders.

Represents Event Organisers team in internal meetings, including but not limited to; marketing, product comms, end of day/month presentations.

Other stuff:

£'s: salary of £35k (£50k OTE uncapped).
