Juice is thrilled to be supporting a well-established hotel based in Shepton Mallet, in their search for a Finance Officer to join their team.
The role has arisen due to an exciting period of change and growth. You will be provided with a hybrid working model requiring 3 days on-site and 2 at home.
This is a stand-alone role reporting to the General Manager. You will be working with a small finance team based across the UK who will provide key support.
DAY TO DAY
- Producing daily reports from 3 x different revenue departments, using an internal PMS system
- Collating information into Excel
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, overseeing all invoices for approval and payment, liaising with GM
- Maintaining all key data held within the CRM database, updating supplier and customer details
- Providing financial analysis to GM and Operations team, highlighting areas of savings/cost reduction and expenditure of expenses
- Working with Revenue Manager and Procurement Manager
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, assisting in controlling cost against forecast, reviewing budgets 2 x per month
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE
- A strong background in accounting procedures including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong knowledge of financial management and principles
- Ability to conduct financial analysis and profit and loss
- Excellent Excel skills
- A people person with a collaborative approach
- A team player with great team skills
