Accounts Assistant

Exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Aberlour based business's accounts team on initially a temporary basis with the view to be made permanent after 12 weeks.

We are open to both full and part time applications.

You'll be fully office based, then there will be an opportunity to work remotely 1 day per week.

The team: You'll be joining a welcoming and friendly team of 3 in the Accounts department and reporting directly into the Office Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Sales and purchase ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ownership for the accuracy of finance transactions
  • Supplier accounts: manage the process of queries from notification to resolution.
  • Payroll, front end (weekly and monthly for 50 -60 staff)
  • Invoice processing and validation
  • Creating and defining process documents for the team
  • Ad-hoc project work

To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, and ideally experience using Xero or Sage.

The role requires an immediate start, initially you will be working remotely with all equipment provided but you will need a quiet space to work and wifi.
