A great opportunity has arisen for a Property Management Accountant to join a market-leading company based in High Wycombe.

The company are looking for a seasoned accountant able to handle the client service charge, as well as the accounts reconciliations and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the property accounting function for the division.
  • Serve as a positive and collaborative representative of the department, engaging with clients in a professional and prepared manner as needed.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the QUBE platform, optimizing its functionality to enhance accounting processes and meet evolving business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing regular updates on ongoing matters and proactively driving issues to resolution.
  • Maintain and manage a calendar of key financial events, such as statements, demands, service charges, rent, insurance, and year-end reconciliations. Ensure the department is well-informed in advance and coordinate the timely completion of all tasks.
  • Support and develop the accounts team, fostering professional growth and aligning resources to improve efficiency and uphold core values.
  • Oversee the division's income and fees, ensuring they are current and adjusted in accordance with management agreements and relevant indices. Collaborate with leadership to create and implement an annual business plan and operating budget.
  • Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of all financial records, with a thorough understanding of general financial standards and specific RICS codes related to property management.
  • Implement a rigorous and effective credit control system to manage property and insurance arrears efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Strong property management accounting experience, adept knowledge around service charge
  • Exposure to commercial and residential property management.
  • QUBE system experience
