The Role:

As Warehouse Team Manager, you'll play a key role in the night-shift operation, overseeing operational activities across the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, and most importantly, leading and motivating your team. You'll foster a culture where people feel valued, safety is second nature, and everyone works together toward shared goals.

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Team Manager:

  • Lead, support, and coach your team to perform at their best
  • Inspire and motivate the team with consistent, clear communication
  • Recognise and celebrate great performance
  • Take responsibility for recruitment, absence management, and performance conversations
  • Plan and allocate work effectively while considering legal driving hours and team capabilities
  • Ensure goods are picked, numbered, and stored accurately and safely
  • Conduct quality investigations and resolve issues professionally
  • Oversee the maintenance and efficient use of equipment
  • Promote and embody company values, especially during challenging periods
