An exciting organisation in the heart of the West Midlands are looking to bring on an experienced and talented Finance Analyst into their vibrant and intelligent finance function. This multi-national organisation is based in Birmingham and have secured themselves a fantastic headquarters which has been recently renovated. They have recently gone through a period of expansion and believe now is the time to expand their finance department and bring on an analytical individual with a strong attention to detail. They care deeply about their staff and always look to lay down a clear progression marker for its aspiring employees. As a Finance Analyst, you can expect to brush shoulders with senior management and leave a real imprint on this organisation. In this role, your already impressive reporting and Excel abilities will be tested, as you conduct detailed variance analysis, produce high quality financial analysis for senior management, and become involved with the budgeting and forecasting process. Your findings and insights will be taken seriously and will often be used to help with decision making within the organisation.
Skills Required
- To have an excellent attention to detail, as in this role you will be working with large data sets and producing comprehensive reports for senior management.
- To be confident and charismatic, as in this role you will be included and involved in senior financial meetings with the Directors, who will be keen on hearing your insights and commentary.
- To be currently studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have completed a number of these examinations in your chosen discipline.
- To have experience working with large data sets and large volumes of data. It is also important to have experience completing detailed variance analysis and producing comprehensive reports for management.
