You will be joining a supportive team playing a crucial part in supporting a child with challenging behaviour, ensuring they have access to a positive and enriching educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing one-on-one support to a child in Year 2 with challenging behaviour.
- Supporting in implementing personalised plans alongside the SENCO
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Employ effective behaviour management strategies to promote an engaged learning atmosphere
Experience Required
- Experience supporting special needs or challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Understanding and interest of how children develop socially and mentally
- Patient, reliable and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs
