Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf North Northamptonshire Council for a Single Point of Access Officer.
Do you have experience customer service experience working in Family hub or children centre experience?
Our Single Point of Access is an essential service that supports parents, carers, families, and professionals in making referrals to the North Northants Family Hub Network of services and community initiatives. The SPA Officer will support the Single Point of Access (SPA) Team Manager in delivering high-quality referral management and administrative processes to facilitate pathways to support services within the Family Hub Network.
Main responsibilities:
- Negotiable with other professionals to ensure we get the best advice, Understanding people's needs and service.
- Accessing service user's current situation and needs to provide structure.
- Understanding person needs
- Negotiating with other professionals to ensure you get the best advice and service guidance.
- To triage all referrals made to the service as the single point of entry and first-level gatekeeper to the North Northants Family Hub Network.
- To thoroughly assess the service users' current situation and individual needs, including a risk assessment and individualised support packages for service users, including signposting where necessary
- To make onward referrals to the most appropriate service to meet the individual needs of the service user following triage
- To liaise and negotiate with other professionals to ensure the best possible service is provided to service users and carers.
- Provide Information and Support: Offer information, guidance, and support to individuals seeking assistance, addressing queries and concerns throughout the referral process.
