Key Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you'll support clients by:
- Managing bookkeeping tasks
- Handling payroll (training provided)
- Assisting with VAT returns and tax queries
- Performing company secretarial duties
- Providing ad hoc training and business advice (with support from Directors)
As an Accountant (must be ACA or ACCA qualified), your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing statutory accounts and annual returns
- Ensuring tax compliance and planning
- Supporting funding applications
- Implementing system improvements
- Attending business events
- Providing internal operational support and staff training
Requirements:
- Significant UK-based experience within an accountancy firm, outsourcing organization, or self-employment in this sector
- Relevant qualifications (AAT, ACCA, ACA)
- Familiarity with Xero, Sage, and Quickbooks
- Desire to work in a friendly team environment and support local clients
