We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 student in Ashford, Kent.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the student, ensuring that they are able to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the student in lessons and activities
- Providing one-to-one support for students who require additional help
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of resources
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities
- Providing feedback to the class teacher on student progress and behaviour
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or experience in education or childcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Experience working with children with special educational needs or disabilities would be an advantage
