We are on the hunt for an Accounts Assistant to join a rapidly growing and unique company based in Eastleigh. If you are looking for an immediate start role with an opportunity to gain exposure to a range of accounts duties in a collaborative team, look no further! This role is offered on a part-time basis (16-20 hours per week) and is initially temporary, with the possibility of going permanent. The salary is pro-rata.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Processing customer invoices through an automated system
- Processing supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts with significant transaction volumes
- Assisting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of the department
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Administrator / Finance Administrator / Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant
- Experience of processing high-volume invoices and multi-currency exposure
- A keen eye for detail
- Working knowledge of Xero and ability to pick up new systems
- Competence with Excel
