Grafton Banks Finance are working with a growing commercial company with offices in the Uckfield, East Sussex area to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the head of finance and working within a small friendly finance team you will be required to assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and generally be involved in the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Daily cash management bank transfers/invoice financing/exchange rates
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of monthly cash flow forecast
- Weekly financial KPI reporting
- Sales commission calculation
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts/year-end accounts
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Monthly petty cash/credit card reconciliations
- Monthly system updates
- Design and preparation of both standard and ad hoc weekly/monthly management reports
- Holiday cover including but not limited to purchase ledger and credit control
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years practical experience working within finance. You will have strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and exposure to an Accounting Software package. You will need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to communicate across the business with both finance and non-finance professionals.
