Overview
A world-leading supplier of fire notification devices, is seeking a Fire and Security Tech Support Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing phone and email technical support to customers, addressing product-related queries, and ensuring technical verification of new products. Responsibilities
- Provide phone and email technical support to customers regarding fire and life safety systems
- Address customer queries related to fire notification devices and other product-related issues
- Conduct testing and technical verification of new products
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of technical issues
- Engage in customer-facing activities to provide on-site support and training as needed
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of fire and life safety systems
- Electrical bias with relevant technical qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a technical support or similar role is advantageous
Day-to-Day
- Provide phone and email support to customers, addressing technical inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with the product development team to conduct testing and verification of new products
- Engage in customer-facing activities, including on-site support and training
- Stay updated on industry advancements and product developments to ensure accurate and effective technical support
