Our client is a thriving digital marketing agency based on the border of New Forest and Southampton, specializing in website development, SEO, and social media management for SMEs predominantly across the UK, and as far as the East Coast USA. Following a recent funding injection, they're in an exciting high-growth phase with plans to triple business over the next 3-5 years.

The Role

We're seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our client services team. This new role is crucial in maintaining and growing our client relationships, focusing on retention, and demonstrating the success of our digital marketing solutions for SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep our SME clients updated with regard to the performance and status of their digital marketing solutions, including websites, SEO, Google AdWords, and social media management.
  • Deal with customer queries and take the opportunity to promote our other services when and where appropriate.
  • Contact clients by email and phone.
  • Focus on client retention ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with our specialized teams (Digital Marketing, Web Design, SEO, AdWords, and Support) to update customers.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and our evolving service offerings to ensure you have knowledge on the subject matter you are discussing with clients.
  • Demonstrate the value and ROI of our services to potential clients

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably working with SMEs
  • Understanding of SEO, Google AdWords, social media marketing, and web development with the ability to discuss with clients regarding account performance.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • Adaptability to work with various types of SMEs and understand their unique challenges
  • Proficiency in CRM systems

What We Offer:

  • Base Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + bonus
