PR Officer - Fashion Brand - London / Hybrid

An amazing Fashion Brand are looking for a PR Officer who is bursting with ideas and not afraid to be innovative.

In this role, you will work on the PR team, co-ordinating the day-to-day running of a busy PR office, where you will support PR activity, talent campaigns, events and brand-building campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working in a PR team across fashion media and talent relations

Press Office Management

  • Support the PR Manager and Head of PR with the daily execution of the PR & Talent strategy, regularly contributing creative ideas to the PR Roadmap
  • Pro-actively monitor media, social trends and cultural stories in order to identify possible opportunities for the Brand
  • Help to amplify brand values by drafting and distributing engaging monthly press releases to targeted media outlets
  • Assist the PR Manager with the PR Intern recruitment and management
  • Oversee the daily maintenance of the media and talent databases while liaising with key media and talent contacts regularly to build our network

Communications

  • Act as a brand ambassador and guardian for the Brand
  • Source, develop and maintain genuine relationships with media, influencers, talent and relevant creatives
  • Manage the internal reporting systems - including wrap up reports, insight reports and monthly results to ensure timely delivery and quality formatting
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders - including Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Content and Buying - to fulfil their various PR and talent requirements with the support of the junior team
  • Promote the PR department internally by presenting updates in monthly internal meetings
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, particularly HR and Social Marketing teams to communicate key business milestones, updates, and news via our LinkedIn channel.

Talent & Influencer

  • Work closely with the wider Marketing teams to efficiently deliver various talent requirements
  • Source and contract talent for Purpose-led brand campaigns
  • Supervise junior team members in sourcing talent for Brand Partnership campaigns

Events

  • Independently manage mid-scale press, influencer and talent events from concept to execution, including planning, logistics and budgeting
  • Help the PR Manager to co-ordinate large-scale seasonal press, influencer and talent events
  • Support the senior team to execute internal events when required

The Candidate

  • An experienced communications professional with at least 3 / 4 years' experience within the PR industry (either Client or Agency side)
  • A confident individual with growing contacts across all areas of the talent and media industries
  • Has proven experience managing press and/or talent events from concept through to execution
  • A creative and skilled writer who can tell a good story
  • A consumer of media of all types, from publishing to social media
  • A highly motivated, organised, forward-thinking and extremely detail-oriented individual
  • Someone who has a strong understanding of cultural trends inclusive of fashion, media, music and art
  • B2B/corporate PR experience advantageous

The Company offer an excellent salary / benefit package with discounts on company products and annual company bonus. This role is currently a hybrid WFH/office role with a minimum of 2 days in the London office required.
