Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all VAT-related matters for a diverse portfolio of clients, including advisory and compliance.
- Provide expert advice on VAT issues, including cross-border transactions, supply chain structuring, and VAT planning.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, managing VAT audits and inspections.
- Review and prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with the latest VAT regulations and legislation.
- Identify opportunities for VAT savings and efficiency improvements for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay up to date with changes in VAT legislation and communicate these to clients and internal teams.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
