Foundation Learning ICT Lecturer

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and flexible Foundation Learning Lecturer to join our team in West London. The primary focus of this role is to deliver and assess ICT/Computing to students aged 16-19 as part of their Foundation Learning study programme. The role may also involve teaching Vocational Studies.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in ICT/Computing to students as part of their Foundation Learning study programme.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in their studies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular reports on their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the department's success.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant teaching qualification - or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience working with SEND Learners
  • Experience in delivering and assessing ICT/Computing courses.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and teaching assignments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
