Heating Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Heating Engineer to work flexibly and with initiative in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in the Co Down areas and offers a rewarding opportunity for skilled individuals in the land/property and construction industry.
Day to day of the role:
- Carry out gas and oil servicing to maintain high-quality standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management and the Quantity Surveyor.
- Itemize and execute work in customers' dwellings and premises.
- Uphold Data Protection Policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Travel across Northern Ireland and Ireland as required for work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to ensure efficient business operations.
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any accidents or health & safety issues appropriately.
- Ensure comprehension and adherence to all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work.
- Follow all manual handling practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for OFTEC and inclusion on the Gas Safe Register.
- Evidence of completed gas courses such as CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1, or others.
- Up-to-date Gas qualifications and certification.
- Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Experience in the construction or plumbing and heating industry.
