Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
This 'office-based' role in Sutton Coldfield (Monday to Friday) is a varied mix of client-facing and supervisory responsibilities and will include;
- The preparation of the monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients,
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns and client's payroll,
- The preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax computations,
- Overseeing the work of accounting trainees
Senior Accountant Skills and Experience:
- To be successful in the role, clear, confident communication skills are vital, to be credible with clients and staff.
- Broad varied accounting/tax experience in a public practice firm (ideally at least 4 years) is sought.
- Confident in the use of IT/accounting software, Sage, Excel, Xero.
