Customer Service Executive

Are you a passionate customer service professional looking to make a difference?

My client, based in Bishop's Stortford, are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their growing team as a Customer Service Executive.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support and resolving inquiries efficiently. You will be the first port of contact for all customer queries so this would suit someone who is confident on the phone and has a knack for problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and resolving customer queries promptly, including complaints, delivery, and picking errors.
  • Ensuring all customer inquiries are handled professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and taking the lead on resolving customer issues.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather product information and address complex queries.
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Working to key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Adhering to established procedures for each task and process, including logging, processing, and following up on inquiries.
  • Performing a variety of administrative tasks as needed to support the department's operations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service/ administrative role and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and confident telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive and hard-working with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
