Our client, a boutique financial services firm, is seeking a skilled AWS & Python Engineer to join their team for an Aladdin implementation project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical initiative in a hybrid work environment across London and the West Midlands.
AWS & Python Engineer Role Overview:
- Position: AWS & Python Engineer (Aladdin Implementation)
- Location: Hybrid (London/West Midlands) – onsite as required by the client
- Rate: £600-£650 per day (Inside IR35 via umbrella)
- Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement
**AWS & Python Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize Aladdin products.
- Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure and applications using Python.
- Ensure seamless data integration and transformation through ETL/ELT processes.
**AWS & Python Engineer Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience with Aladdin implementations in a financial services or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong AWS experience, including S3, Lambda, Athena, Glue, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
- Familiarity with API development (REST, RPC, SOAP).
- Solid understanding of SQL for data management and querying.
