Our client is an Established, Family Run, Architectural Services Business who work in the Domestic and Commercial markets.

They are seeking an Enthusiastic and Proficient Senior Office Administrator to manage the administration and operations in the business; Someone who is a highly organised individual and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience of working in a Building Design or Construction and knowledge of Building and Planning Protocols would be an advantage but not essential.

This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team who are focused on getting the business to the next level.

Salary & Benefits Package

  • £14 - £20 an hour subject to experience
  • 18 - 28 hours a week to be agreed
  • Holidays pro-rata to agreed hours

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Front of house – Reception: answering phones and greeting clients
  • Invoicing
  • On boarding of clients - Order acceptance produces
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Inputting data into Excel
  • General ad hoc duties

Results Expected in this Position

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, including onboarding and employee records.
  • Support the team with project-related tasks and deadlines.

Position Requirements

  • Experience working as an Office Manager / Senior Administrator is essential to be successful for this role.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient on Excel.
  • Highly organised individual.
  • Has knowledge of the construction industry or architectural protocols (desired not compulsory).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Office or Operations Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
