We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst to join our client at the Northamptonshire site.

Description

  • Provide technical assistance to computer system users.
  • Answer user inquiries regarding software or hardware issues and resolve problems.
  • Perform remote software installations and hardware testing.
  • Detect and troubleshoot errors by reading technical manuals and conducting diagnostics.
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken.
  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve software or hardware issues
  • Install software and perform hardware testing remotely
  • Verify system operations and detect errors
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and issues resolved
  • Consult technical manuals and conduct diagnostics to provide support

Profile

  • Experience in a similar IT support role
  • Experience with Windows OS (Windows 10), Active Directory (basic knowledge), DNS, DHCP, printing services, hardware configuration, and software troubleshooting
  • Previous exposure to networking and a background in manufacturing are beneficial but not mandatory

  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Familiarity with SOPs and processes
