Commercial Coordinator

We are looking for a Commercial Coordinator to ensure flexibility and business continuity within our commercial function. This role is a dual function position that supports both the Proposals and Execution functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and procedures, as well as the ability to manage and compile quotations and tenders effectively.
Day to Day of the role:
Proposals Function:
- Coordinate negotiation activities and prepare detailed contractual reviews.
- Supporting the project managers with administration
- Document control
- Maintain professionalism in customer communications and resolve any scope or customer queries.
- Self-manage and prioritize quotations to ensure timely responses within company guidelines.
Execution Function:
- Control the order process and hold weekly project/order review meetings.
- Provide status reports and maintain communication with internal teams and customers regarding order status.
- Liaise with dispatch to ensure prompt and correct dispatch of orders.
- Monitor lead times and project/order status, keeping the customer informed as necessary.
- Maintain good housekeeping of the work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and procedures involved in the FO> product range.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, data sheets, and specification documents.
- Confident and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Quick ownership of customer requirements, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with figures and calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; SAP experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is beneficial due to the international customer base.
