August Clarke are recruiting for an experience Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a centralised finance team where there will be opportunities to learn new skills and drive process improvements.
Our client operates within the service sector and has a well established client base. This role would be well suited to a candidate who enjoys a varied role and has good communication skills. Prior Management Accounting experience and a flexible approach is essential . Key tasks will include;
- Production of monthly management accounts and management accounting reports
- Analysing varies from the budget and creating KPI reports
- Month end processes; reconciliations, running reports and understanding variances.
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecast updates.
- Liaising with budget holders and help grow income and identify opportunities for savings
- Provide cover for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as required
- Assist with year-end financial statements and audit.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes;
- Experience with month end close and reporting
- Ability to commit to a fixed term contract
- Relevant degree or partial completion of ACCA/CIMA - candidates with relevant experience will be considered
- Good excel skills - Pivot tables and Look ups.
- Strong communication skills
This role is available to start at the end of June or Early July and is initially offered as a 3-4 month fixed term contract with scope to be offered a permanent contract.
