A Sports sector focussed independent law firm in London is recruiting for a Litigation Solicitor to join their team in London. The team are ranked top-tier for Sports in both Legal 500 and Chambers and consists of over 30 fee-earners who are able to advise on the most complex and important work in sports for a roaster of high profile domestic and international clients.

The team act for some of the most complex litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters within sport. Their established relationships with governing bodies, sports clubs, individual participants and other industry players allows them to be instructed on a wide variety of contentious matters.

The team are now seeking to recruit a junior associate to join their team.

Your work will include advising on:

  • Advising on the drafting and implementation of new regulations
  • Internal or external regulatory investigations
  • Disciplinary matters
  • Commercial disputes subject to arbitration or high court litigation, predominantly within the sports context but also more broadly

This role would suit an ambitious lawyer, ideally 1-2 years' PQE, looking to join a growing and exciting firm. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid litigation, arbitration and/or regulatory experience from a leading City practice.
  • Exceptional communicator, with strong client facing skills.
  • Excellent academics.
  • Experience in sports law is not required but a demonstrable interest in this area is essential.
