Are you passionate about employment law and providing vital support to individuals who need it? Our client is seeking an Employment Case Administrator to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong background in employment law and enjoy the challenge of managing complex caseloads, then this opportunity is perfect for you.

As an Employment Case Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and processing of employment law legal claims work. Working closely with the Legal Services Manager, you will manage the processes and ensure efficient handling of employment law claims. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks will be essential in managing a diverse caseload and providing support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the employment caseload, including tribunals, ACAS Early Conciliation, and other employment enquiries/casework.
  • Keep the Head of Legal Services informed about critical issues arising from employment law caseload.
  • Verify the membership of Employment Law claimants and update the case database.
  • Correspond with branches and members, providing updates on case progress and maintaining effective communication.
  • Liaise with ACAS Conciliators and ensure adherence to relevant time limits.
  • Collaborate with solicitors and determine proper management of cases based on assessment and requirements.
  • Work with Panellists, allocate work, and provide necessary instructions.
  • Manage invoices and authorisations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and the workings of Employment Tribunals.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in employment-related matters.
  • Degree or professional qualification in legal matters is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and databases.
  • High level of numeracy skills.
