Contract personnel are proud to support a local business who are one of the UK's leading subcontract CNC machining specialists providing companies from all over the UK with high quality CNC machined components. Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their friendly team.
Your new role
As a CNC turner you will be required to program, setup and operate CNC machines, primarily in turning operations. You will be required to read technical drawings and produce high quality finishes. You will be working as part of a team to meet targets. Equipment maintenance as required.
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:45 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
- Overtime opportunities are sometimes available, including potential Saturday mornings
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience in CNC turning.
- Experience with programming CNC machines (desirable)
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls. (desirable)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you'll get in return
- Competitive salary of 30,000 to 34,000 per annum
- Monday – Friday, early finish on Fridays
- 28 days holiday
