Tendering and Estimating Specialist

Join our client, a leader in fabrication, engineering, and manufacturing, as a Tendering and Estimating Specialist. This role is ideal for a professional with a knack for analysing client requests and creating detailed estimates. You will be instrumental in building client relationships and collaborating with internal departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Analyse and comprehend detailed client requests, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop accurate and timely estimates and produce clear and detailed quotations.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure full project understanding and accurate project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in a related field.
- Experience in fabrication estimation or project engineering.
- Preferably have knowledge in manufacturing areas such as structural steelwork, piping, and pressure vessels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A collaborative and self-motivated individual with strong analytical, mathematical, and detail-oriented skills.
