Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a Maintenance Support Coordinator to join their team.
Salary £38,000-£40,000.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Support Coordinator will be responsible for reacting and resolving day-to-day site issues whilst identifying and implementing improvements.
Duties of the Maintenance Support Coordinator include:
- Maintain plant efficiency by scheduling external planned maintenance and servicing
- Arranging external contractor requirements
- Monitor and communicate all site-planned activities.
- Promote and implement continuous improvement activities
- Ensuring completion of routine work orders and work requests
- Review of maintenance routines to ensure the best use of resources
- Ensure compliance with ATEX regulations and other safety standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Ensuring all EH&S activities are planned and communicated
- Promoting safe working practices
- Encouraging 5S discipline and continuous improvement techniques
We would be keen to speak with Maintenance Support Coordinators with the following:
- Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification
- IOSH Managing Safety
- COMPEX / ATEX
- Experience working within a hazardous area (DSEAR)
- Great attention to detail
