Finance Assistant (Temporary), Exeter, £25,000 DOE
Due to a period of sustained growth, an engineering company on the outskirts of Exeter are looking to add another head to their sizeable finance team. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with the intention (all things going well) for the role to be made permanent.
The role is a varied finance position which will include invoice processing, bank reconciliations, liaising with suppliers and assisting the management accountant with month end preparation. You will use Excel and Sage to pull data from the systems and help analyse information.
We are ideally looking for an individual who has an accounting background; working as a purchase ledger clerk or finance assistant previously. You will be used to volume accounting and willing to learn on the job. The team are a diverse and approachable bunch, so a good sense of humour, ability to adapt to a busy office and enjoy a team environment is essential.
