Early Years Educator

Are you an experienced Early Years Educator, looking for a new, permanent part-time role in the afternoons ?

The German School London is part of a long-standing tradition of excellence and the Kindergarten provides a bi-lingual education for children from 3 - 6 years.

As an afternoon Early Years Educator, you will work with groups of children and a German speaking Group Leader.

The School is set in beautiful, extensive grounds next to the river Thames, and every day is different for you and the children.

The Role

  • Support a stimulating and safe learning environment for children aged 3-6 years
  • Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities to support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive atmospher
  • Providing feedback to parents and guardians when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the learning environment of the 'Kinderhaus'.
  • Participation in school events, such as the Lantern Festival, Summer Festival or Open Day

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 2 years experience as Early Years Educator Level 3 or above; or similar qualification
  • Excellent command of the English language, oral and written
  • Confident and competent appearance
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
