We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to sort incoming deliveries for our National client based in Huntington.
Temporary ongoing assignment
Late shift - start times may vary, finish time 8-9pm
£12.31ph to 7pm then £14.81ph after 7pm
Circa 25-30 hours per week
Mon to Fri only
Weekly pay
Brand new modern depot and facilities
Own transport is essential
Training is provided
Must have own safety footwear - PPE
DBS and 5 year referencing is needed
Duties:
- Receive/dispatch goods as required in the warehouse
- To safely and securely load/unload customer's goods in line with warehouse targets
- Count stock
- To ensure high levels of housekeeping standards are maintained
- To provide a high level of internal and external customer care
- To ensure that the customers goods are handled carefully and correctly in line with standard operating procedures
- To carry out other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure the effective performance of the warehouse operation
Essential Skills:
- Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
- Experience working in a warehouse for this role would be desirable
- Must have own transport due to the location of the site
- Must be able to speak/read a certain level of English to follow instruction and be safe on site
- Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- This is a lightweight lifting role but you must be physically fit as you will be on your feet for the duration of the shift
- You must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to prove this
- You just adhere to Health & Safety rules at all times
