The Private Tax Manager will utilise their technical knowledge to provide high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients. The role also requires managing a team and working collaboratively with colleagues across the accounts, audit & corporate tax teams.

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's & agricultural clients.

Description

  • Providing high-quality tax advice to clients.
  • Effectively managing a dynamic team within the tax department.
  • Working in collaboration with colleagues across the wider organisation and neighbouring legal practices.
  • Nurturing and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and the potential impact on clients.
  • Contributing to business development activities to attract new clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns.

Profile

A successful Private Tax Manager should have:

  • An academic qualification in a relevant field such as Tax or Accounting - ATT, ACA, ACCA or CTA (QBE will be considered).
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax advisory services.
  • A proven track record in team management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Awareness of the latest tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience in UK Accountancy & Tax Practice.
