Registered Nurse - Care Home (Billingshurst)
Working for one of the leading care home providers in the UK, who are dedicated to providing personalised and compassionate care in order to enhance the quality of life for their elderly residents and those in need of their specialist care, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their growing team in this residential care home setting based in Billingshurst.
In this role you will play a crucial position in ensuring the residents receive the outstanding clinical care and support they deserve. Your day will be filled with using your clinical knowledge and people management and leadership skills, you will elevate the standards in relationship-centered care, clinical care and dementia care. Daily you will:
- Take responsibility for the well-being of the residents making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
- Using your clinical skills to provide support to the residents and guidance to the care staff.
- Produce individualised care plans and detailed risk assessments with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Monitoring practices and work areas to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation.
- Guiding, supporting, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code and following its guidance at all times.
We are seeking an individual with:
- Current and unrestricted NMC Registration ideally with experience leading a team of carers
- Passionate about delivering high-quality levels of care and support.
- Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy.
- Awareness and understanding of the CQC/RQIA National Care Standards
- Live close to / can commute daily to Billingshurst, West Sussex
