My client is a top 20 Pracise firm, who is looking for an ESG Specialist at the Senior Manager Grade to join their growing team.
As a member of the Audit Advisory team, your role will involve offering guidance and ensuring adherence to International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the firm's audit and assurance methodologies. A key aspect of this role will focus on developing new methodologies in the growing area of ESG reporting and assurance, as well as defining the scope of assurance services the firm provides.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborating with colleagues in the Audit Advisory and Financial Reporting Advisory teams to enhance our ESG audit and assurance approach
- Supporting global initiatives aimed at improving and implementing the global ESG assurance methodology
- Building capacity through training and knowledge sharing
- Assisting the Climate & Sustainability team with digital solutions, data analytics, thought leadership, and other methodology projects
- Partnering with the clients ESG networks across the UK and internationally
The successful candidate will also work alongside our audit reporting team to:
- Define the scope of services offered in this area and align them with our broader audit service offerings
- Partner with non-audit service lines to establish suitable terms of engagement
- Develop policies and guidance related to ESG reporting
