Pertemps Bristol is seeking experienced Vehicle Fitters for coach building work at a manufacturing company in Fishponds, BS16.
- £12.50 per hour, rising to up to £14.25 per hour after 13 weeks, depending on experience
- Monday - Friday 07:30-16:00
- Based in Fishponds, Bristol
- Easy to access via public transport
About the role
- Fitting, assembling, and installing parts/components to light commercial vehicles
- Working with different materials such as GRP, fibreglass, stainless steel, aluminium and wood
- Drilling, cutting, bolting and fixing materials
- Operate basic cutting machinery and a variety of hand tools.
- Complete full vehicle body builds to a high standard - including all areas of the interior and exterior build
The right candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role – mechanic, assembly operative, production operative, manufacturing etc
- Confident using hand tools
- Comfortable with a role which involves some heavy lifting - up to 25kg – and long periods of working on your feet.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Good communication skills
