Are you a proactive and experienced Conveyancing Assistant seeking the next step in your legal career? This is a brilliant opportunity to join a friendly, supportive, and growing Residential Conveyancing team within a respected law firm that offers real progression opportunities and a hands-on role in a busy, client-focused environment.

The Role:

As an integral part of the conveyancing support team, you will work alongside Conveyancers and Solicitors on a variety of residential property matters, supporting transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role, where your contribution will directly support the smooth and timely delivery of client services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to Conveyancers managing active caseloads.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date case files using a Case Management System.
  • Communicating professionally with clients, solicitors, lenders, and third parties by phone and email.
  • Managing inbound and outbound correspondence in line with service expectations.
  • Ordering property searches, AML checks, and final searches.
  • Preparing and sending contract packs to purchasers.
  • Supporting the contract exchange process, including chasing and exchanging contracts.
  • Monitoring fee earners' inboxes during their non-working days.
  • Ensuring all activity complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a residential conveyancing support role is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively in a busy environment.
  • Professional and confident communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management software.
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
